Day 5 – 7/04/10
6am wake up call today... on the drive to the Grampians National Park we took several stops along the Great Ocean Road, Loch Ard Gorge/London Bridge/Bay of Martys & the Bay of Islands – each with their own quirky interesting stories to go with them which was pretty interesting. Another not-so-sunny day though unfortunately so tan is failing miserably – boo! Then headed inland away from the Great Ocean Road to the Grampians National Park. We hiked to the Pinnacle (don’t ask me the name of the mountain as it was only referred to as ‘the Pinnacle’! – it was a long way up none the less!!) for some amazzzing views at the top
...then proceeded onto MacKenzie Falls – beautiful waterfall...
and The Balconies which is a look out view over a massive valley where we sat and watched the sunset. ( Can I use awesome again?) Once again had very nice chalet type accommodation and spagbol for dinner :) – another luxury was only having to share my room with one other person as oppose to 8!! ...ahh simple luxuries!
